State-wide Mental Health Graduate Nurse Program
The new State-wide mental health graduate program for Registered Nurses has been developed in conjunction with Curtin University of Technology. The aim of the program is to develop you so that you can work with confidence and in partnership with consumers, their families, service providers, policy makers and inter-disciplinary team members to enhance mental health outcomes at a local, state, national and international level.
What’s on offer?
- A 58 week full-time contract (part-time hours can be negotiated but will extend length of program)
- Excellent support from experienced mental health nurses and educators
- Rotational rostering (may include day, afternoon and nights)
- Ability to work in various locations including rural. Participants travelling to and from regional locations or rotations may be eligible for a travel bursary (PDF 84KB) and accommodation subsidies. *Conditions apply.
- Up to 7 weeks leave (4 weeks annual leave, 5 days for working shift work and 10 public holidays)
- Accrued days off (ADOs) negotiable (12 days per year)
- Up to $16,000 HECS Debt reimbursement (PDF 50KB) *Conditions apply
