Bridging your registration
The registration bridging program is offered to overseas-educated nurses and midwives who want to work in Western Australia. The Nurses and Midwifery Board of Western Australia (external site) will advise overseas applicants if they are required to undertake this program in order to gain initial registration in WA.
Registered Nurses
The Registered Nurse Registration Bridging Program is a highly competitive course and the programs offered in 2010 are full.
No further applications for the Registered Nurse Registration Bridging Program will be accepted.
Midwives
The Midwifery Registration Bridging Program consists of a combination of distance learning and internal theory and clinical components.
