Nursing and midwifery refresher programs have been designed for enrolled nurses, registered nurses and midwives who have been out of the acute clinical setting for a while.

The aim is to provide you with the opportunity to brush up on your skills in a supportive environment, allowing you to make the transition back into the acute hospital setting with confidence and competence.

Nurses and midwives applying for these programs must still registered with the Nurses and Midwives Board of WA.

As part of the theoretical component of our programs every nurse or midwife will be required to demonstrates competency in medication calculation, manual handling, basic life support, shock advisory and fire and emergency prior to undertaking clinical practice.
