Scholarships and financial assistance
WA Health offers a range of scholarships to nursing and midwifery students studying in Western Australia that leads to initial registration, and postgraduate nurses and midwives who are currently working in the WA health system and are studying at Western Australian universities.
WA Health scholarships for nurses and midwives are available for application through the Nursing and Midwifery Office and the Office of Aboriginal Health.
These scholarships assist the professional development of nurses and midwives and encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to embark on health-related careers.
