Midwifery Fellowship

The Midwifery Fellowship scholarship is awarded to a midwife who has submitted a proposal related to higher degree study or research in a clinical area of midwifery; or a proposed study tour that will provide opportunities to review innovation, best practice and evidence based practice relation to the provision of midwifery care. The emphasis should be on clinical practice.

$15,000 will be awarded to the successful applicant.

Applicants must be Midwives who:

  • are currently registered with the Nurses and Midwives Board of Western Australia
  • are currently working within the Western Australian public health sector
  • have demonstrated a level of commitment to working in Western Australia
  • have evidence of two years post registration experience in midwifery
  • are an Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia
