Postgraduate midwifery scholarship

These scholarships assist registered nurses employed within the Western Australian public health system to study a Postgraduate Diploma of Midwifery. They are highly sought after and may vary in amount according to the number of successful applicants. Depending on the number of applicants, the Nursing and Midwifery Office will fund up to a maximum 80% of the unit cost.

*Please note: If your course is eligible for commonwealth support, you are required to apply for that. The Nursing and Midwifery Office will only cover the cost of the student contribution.

Postgraduate specialisation scholarships

These scholarships assist registered nurses and midwives employed within the Western Australian public health system to complete specialisation courses at a postgraduate level to advance their knowledge and skills in their chosen field. The course must be completed at a Western Australian tertiary institution or recognised organisation. The value of these scholarships varies depending on the cost of the course and the number of successful applicants. The Nursing and Midwifery Office will fund up to a maximum of 80% of the unit cost.

Nurse Practitioner Scholarship

Australian Government Scholarships administered by Royal College of Nursing Australia. The Scheme is an Australian Government initiative seeking to support registered nurses who are studying to become endorsed nurse practitioners.
